Doncha just love getting spam e-mails with subject lines that are completely inscrutable? We know at least one person who collects them, like found art, or refrigerator-poetry accidents, hoping someday to weave them into some kind of 21st-century Joycean epic. Anyway, it would appear that at least a few emo bands seem to be dialed into the same wavelength. And because we’re always looking out for great bargains for you the music fan, we’ve noticed that at 7 p.m. on Friday, June 4, Brilliant Red Lights, the Dining Room Romance, Papercut Revery and Tigerlife will play an all-ages, free show at the UC Davis Coffeehouse. We’re talking four bands for zero bucks, which is pretty unbeatable unless you’re rocking a copy of the new Thief game or something.
