This informative, highly entertaining IMAX adventurelogue from naturalist-filmmaker Greg MacGillivray (Everest) takes us to some of the people and places that give the Golden State a rather special glow. It’s a documentary about risk-takers who have reinvented themselves as adventurers or innovators, and the man-made and natural wonders that dot our landscape. Destinations include a walk atop the cables of the Golden Gate Bridge, a jump with “sky surfers” over San Diego, snowboarding in the Sierras, a walk down the red carpet at the Academy Awards, and a front-wave seat at the surf challenge known as the Mavericks.
