A sweet vegan challenge

If you like a challenge, the 1000 Vegan Cupcakes for Charity Challenge is as good as it gets. Not only will there be 1,000 tiny cakes made by 10 local bakeries without any animal-product ingredients, but proceeds from the bake sale go to The Humane Society of the United States, Sacramento Tree Foundation and Center for Land-Based Learning. There’s a contest for the best cupcakes with notable judges, including veg-lifestyle author Colleen Patrick-Goudreau.
