I thought I should balance out the estrogen-saturated Vagina Monologues pick in this week’s calendar with something more manly. Allow me to call your attention to the arrival of nationally syndicated sports-radio host Jim Rome. Rome, whose irreverent sports talk show can be heard daily on more than 200 stations including Sacramento’s Sports 1140 KHTK, has made Sacramento stop No. 28 on his U.S. tour. The tailgate party begins Saturday morning at Arco Arena. Doors open at 11:30 a.m. for a 1 p.m. live show with tentative guests Mike Bibby, Vlade Divac, the Maloofs and members of the Oakland Raiders.
