A Saturday jones

Can’t wait for Second Saturday, and you need an opening this weekend? The John Natsoulas Gallery can oblige, if you don’t mind making the trek over the Yolo Causeway into Davis. Opening on Saturday are works by Kay Knight and George Longfish. Knight’s work riffs off of art deco furniture, kitchenware and other things, and Longfish explores Native American motifs. The gallery is located at 521 First Street in Davis. If you’re feeling more intrepid, Art on the Square, an art, music and wine festival, will be held from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. at Hutchins Street Square (125 S. Hutchins Street) in Lodi. Works shown include photographs by Robin Parker Garcia.
