A Midsummer Night’s Dream

For Sacramento Shakespeare’s 25th anniversary, director David Harris puts an original spin on this oft-staged classic: After sundown, the “green” faeries drink absinthe, the notorious “hallucinogenic” liquor that inspired and impaired 19th-century Euro artists.
