A fair is a veritable smorgasbord

The fair is here! The fair is here! Easier to see and easier on your wallet than its larger State Fair cousin, this year’s Sacramento County Fair celebrates “The Bounty of the County.” All your favorite fair attractions will be there: live hypnotist shows, The Eagle’s Battle of the Bands, Cook’s Racing Pigs (“the Porsches of Pork!”), a demolition derby, a midway of rides and, of course, food on a stick! It’s four days of wholesome fun and admission is free! You can’t be more fair than that. (Be forewarned, Cal Expo will still charge $6 for parking.)
