A cure for conversation
QuizUp
The latest crack for app addicts is QuizUp, which launched in November 2013 and is essentially a mobile version of Trivial Pursuit. You can play against strangers or Facebook friends, and the hundreds of categories vary from textbook (science, literature) to pop-culture hell (Taylor Swift, the Boston Red Sox). I dig the app because when my girlfriend and I eat dinner, we can stare at our phones like a normal couple, play the game and still have something in common. QuizUp is the new Dr. Phil. www.quizup.com.
