37th annual Environmentalists of the Year

Thursday, April 22, 6-9pm, SMUD headquarters building, 6201 S Street, Sacramento

ECOS presents the 37th annual Environmentalists of the Year Awards, honoring those that have done exceptional work in the last year on behalf of the Sacramento regional environment. This year, the awardees will be Sean Wirth (individual within ECOS), Mike Wiley and Bob Schneider (individuals outside ECOS), SMUD (business) and WalkSacramento (community organization). Tickets are $20, fully tax deductible. There will be healthy food and beverages, as well as the screening of the award-winning documentary Nourishing the Kids of Katrina by Sacramento filmmaker Robert Lee Grant (www.nourishingthekids.com).
