There’s a new venue in town: My BBQ Spot. The place seems to be pretty hip-hop-friendly, and they’re proving it with Second Saturday performances by Cawzlos, Bloe and Chuck Taylor. Plus, there’s a bike competition facilitated by D&D Motorbikes. And check out a performance by a guy who, during a freestyle battle, smothered his opponent with this line: “His real name is Nick Parker / you need to get smarter / go see a different barber / dye your hair blonde and I’ll call you Nick Carter.” That’s Chase Moore.
