Tony Alesso, West SacramentoLos Jarritos. They’ve got good everything—especially the chicken taco combo plate and the flautas. And, it’s cheap.

Elaine Rainbolt, FolsomBandera, because it’s fun and they have great ribs and chicken. It’s a nice atmosphere, and it’s dark so you can’t see my wrinkles.
2232 Fair Oaks Boulevard, (916) 922-3524
Nick Linskiy, Citrus HeightsFamous Kabob. It’s Persian food. I like the way they prepare the meat. They have good shish kabobs and they serve warm pita bread and fresh vegetables that you eat with your hands. Lunch is only seven or eight bucks, and dinners are around ten to fifteen.
1290 Fulton Avenue, (916) 483-1700
Melissa Hastie, NatomasThe Mustard Seed has excellent food that is always fresh. The menu is seasonal and changes monthly. It’s in an old restored house, or you can sit on big cushions on the patio outside. They have a great wine list, and the owners shop for the wine themselves. I actually found out about the restaurant when I met the owners at a wine tasting in Napa.

Maria Ramirez, SacramentoI’ve been going to Roma’s Pizzeria since I was in the first grade, and the food is still as good as it was then. The pizza has thick crust, the sauce is tasty, and the pasta and soup are good too.
