A note from Jason

The ballots for the June 7 election are already showing up in mailboxes in Butte County, and yesterday (May 12), the Chico News & Review’s primary election issue showed up in racks. Inside, we have broken down the primaries and the ramifications of redistricting, interviewed the candidates for the two open Butte County Supervisor seats and shared the CN&R’s endorsements. Get those ballots filled out and mailed/turned in by June 7. If you still need to register, you have until May 23.

When you’re done with your civic duty, there’s another contest that you should weigh in on. Best of Chico voting started on May 9. Visit the site and help us celebrate Chico’s people, places and things.
