Issue: March 11, 2021
The March print edition of the Chico News & Review is on stands!
Features this month include Ashiah Scharaga’s report on the Paradise Sewer Project, a $180 million proposal to build an 18-mile-long sewer pipe from Paradise to Chico that has the support of Ridge leaders and has others concerned about the transparency of the process and the potential impact on the environment. Also, Ken Smith explores the various legal challenges and consequences to arise out of the sometimes contentious debate over the city’s homeless encampment sweeps.
As always, we love to hear what our readers are thinking—about the stories we are writing and anything else. Go here to get it all off your chest!
One more thing: The News & Review still wants your input. Follow this link to take a brief survey and share your thoughts about the direction of the newspaper. We are a community publication, and we want to know what the community is thinking!
