Issue: November 24, 2016
Morning, readers!
And Happy Thanksgiving! In honor of the holiday each year, we at the CN&R take a moment to give thanks for the kind and generous people who give of themselves to make our communities such nice places to live. This year, we highlight seven folks who make a difference--but there are many, many more. So, please look to your family members, friends and neighbors who are committed to volunteering and donating to worthy causes and say "Thank you."
As many of you may have noticed, this week's issue has been on stands since yesterday. So, those of you who pick up paper copies probably already have the scoop on this week's big stories. They range from shining a light on programs for homeless and foster youth to getting up to date on water issues. Naturally, there's much more for you to peruse over this long weekend.
Enjoy your families and good food this Turkey Day. And remember to be thankful.
Until next week,
Meredith J. Cooper, managing editor
