Issue: September 29, 2016
Morning, readers!
Do you know what time of year it is? Harvest time! And I mean that in more ways than one. In preparation for the upcoming election, I did some homework on how pot legalization has worked out for a Colorado community similar to Chico--Boulder. So, what could be in store for Chico should Proposition 64, which would legalize marijuana for recreation, pass? Read this week's feature story to get an idea. We also have other cannabis-related features throughout the issue, including a glimpse into legalizing hemp, a primer on edibles and a look at pot addiction.
In other news: Is Chico running out of low-income housing? It's looking that way. Also, we interview a pro fencer; and get a preview of the Dropkick Murphys' upcoming Chico show. Yeah!
Until next time,
