Issue: January 14, 2016
Morning, readers!
This week we offer you our Health Issue, and this time around we
highlight the journey of a local CrossFit champion who ran across
Colorado to combat the stigma of epilepsy, which she's dealt with her
entire life. It's inspiring to say the least.
In other news: Butte County supervisors talk Measure A while the
Paradise Town Council bans growing and some delivery of medical
marijuana; two upcoming events--the Poor People's Palooza and MLK
Day--highlight diversity and shine a light on marginalized communities;
a local couple can't catch a break on their water bill; and Arts Devo
bids farewell to David Bowie.
Until next week,
Meredith J. Cooper, managing editor
