Issue: May 07, 2015
Morning, readers!
And happy Thursday, which, in the world of college students, marks the
beginning of the weekend (and an excuse to party!). This week's feature
story explores the inner workings of "bro culture," from joining a frat
to showing off side-abs. Sounds fun, right? I don't want to spoil the
story for you, but it's definitely not all beer pong and booty calls.
In other news: Environmental groups join forces in a plan to shoot
salmon over Upper Park's broken fish ladder; the City Council votes to
help the county pay for a new jail; we look back on 40 years of BEC; and
check out the new "Casablanca"-inspired play at the Blue Room.
Of course, there's more--browse away!
Until next week,
Meredith J. Cooper, associate editor
