Issue: April 02, 2015
Good morning!
Are you in the mood for some poetry? Don't worry, it's short ... This
week we bring you Poetry 99, with 99 being the maximum word count. We
have winning entries from people of all ages who chose a wide range of
inspirational subjects. Enjoy! And if that's not enough, come on down to
the Bookstore downtown tonight at 6:30, because all of the winners--and
honorable mentions--are invited to read their poems.
In other news: We look into the life and death of Chicoan Cass Edison;
we track down the culprit behind a creekbed full of dead fish; we check
on the health of the local environment; and learn from a young woman
who's been diagnosed with Lyme disease.
There's always more, so please browse.
Until next week,
Meredith J. Cooper, associate editor
