Happy spring, Chico. Wait ... what?
Is this mild, sunny weather just the typical February in Chico spring
fake-out, or are we turning the corner toward barbecues and gardening
and allergy season? Let's hope it's the former and we have a decent
amount of rain return to the forecast.
In local news this week, we report on the Chico City Council's momentous
decision on the annexation of the Chapman and Mulberry neighborhoods as
well as look into the turmoil a Chico State as staff and faculty protest
working conditions at the university. And in arts, man about town Carey
Wilson is all over downtown as he takes in the Blue Room Theatre's
star-studded production of Sam Shepard's /True West /and stops by B
Street Public House for a brunch with a posse of Chico hipster. And we also
get in a few words with Cleveland hip-hop legends Bone Thugs-N-Harmony.
Enjoy the nice weather, Chico. And pray for rain!
