Issue: February 12, 2015
Good morning, readers!
Are you ready to rock? Well, there are plenty of Chicoans who will rock
out with you (or for you, if you're not so inclined), and we've decided
to highlight a handful of them for our annual Local Band Issue. So read
up on some longstanding groups, some newbies on the scene, and the crazy
idea to hold a month-long concert at the Tackle Box (that just might work).
In other news (I bet you saw that coming): Medical marijuana proponents
sue over Measure A, the Oroville Cemetery is missing trees, a local
professor pens a book about climate change and, in her column, Editor
Melissa Daugherty shows us the snippier side of our vice mayor.
Until next week,
Meredith J. Graham, associate editor
