Issue: January 29, 2015
Good morning!
We have quite a doozy of an issue for you this week, so I'm going to
dive right in. For our feature story, we get an inside look at the
investigation that took down Chico's most notorious kidnapper/rapist,
Lonnie Keith.
In other news: The folks behind Save Oroville Trees get a couple
crippling blows this week, including the felling of four more trees at
the Oroville Cemetery; soil testing in South Oroville reveals a shocking
amount of chemical contamination; we say goodbye to Avenue 9 Gallery;
and much, much more.
Don't forget ... this Saturday is the Keep Chico Weird Talent Show at
the El Rey! As a super-fun bonus, there'll be an Art Show at 1078
Gallery launching with a reception tonight and lasting through Saturday.
See you there, weirdos!
