Issue: September 15, 2011
Ever been to a live auction? Maybe you've watched one of the many current
TV shows about them--Auction Kings, Auction Hunters, etc. This week, Jaime
O'Neill takes us on a tour of Chico's own scene, from the auction house on
West Eighth Street to storage facilities (Storage Wars, anyone?). Dive on in.
In other news: The Chico Nature Center's future seems uncertain after the
resignation of its longtime ED; local environmental groups are feeling a
financial pinch; and Sol Mexican Grill serves up french fries in a burrito
(say what?!).
Don't forget to vote for the Best of Chico!
