What’s private anymore?
Apparently not much in this age of the Internet, Facebook, online banking and Twittering. In our feature story, we take a look at government policies, targeted advertising and companies who log every site you visit, every key you strike. Pretty scary stuff, if you ask me.
In other news: I finally got a chance to read the search-warrant affidavits for the June raids on medical-marijuana collectives and their owners. What they reveal is very interesting. Also, take a peek at CN&R Editor Robert Speer’s column, in which he talks about infiltrating a local Tea Party meeting. In this week’s Music story, a Q&A divulges the Satanic leanings of Chico band Witchdick; and in the Green Guide, there’s a story about kids at Sherwood Montessori who take food very seriously.
As always, thanks for reading!
