Hundreds of zombies overtook City Plaza last Saturday (Oct. 28) in Chico’s third annual “Thrill the World” flash-mob event. For weeks, dancers met to practice the dance moves from Michael Jackson’s “Thriller” video, and Saturday night those moves—including “dying” and coming back to life—were put to the test when about 300 people—adults and kids alike—put on their best zombie makeup and torn-up duds and danced simultaneously along with groups across the globe.
