For American workers, full-time is often more than 40 hours a week
The 40-hour work week is the standard for full-time jobs in the United States, right? Depends on which half of the workers you ask. According to just-released results from Gallup’s Work and Education Survey, 50 percent of full-time workers in the country say they put in more than 40 hours each week, with 18 percent clocking in for 60 or more.
