Whoo-hoo! It’s Halloween!

Chico State student Melody Abreu definitely had the Halloween spirit Friday night (Oct. 31), posing in front of the bemused members of an equestrian unit brought in from Modesto to help with crowd control. Although Chico police reported Halloween was “much busier” than in the last few years, it wasn’t anything like the mayhem that used to occur on a regular basis. Police made close to 50 arrests, mostly for alcohol-related offenses.
