Visionary mission
Take a listen to Chico’s The Point radio station as it partners with World Vision, a humanitarian organization dedicated to helping children, families and communities in some of the world’s most impoverished regions.
Tune your dial to 107 FM today (World Vision Day) for a 13-hour radiothon hosted by DJ Dain Sandoval, who will be encouraging listeners to sponsor a child in need. Sponsorships help pay for the things we take for granted every day, such as clean water, food and shelter.
World Vision is on a mission to help those who need help the most. The organization reaches out to people, particularly children, in nearly 100 countries around the world. Donations to this charity help children who have been left orphans due to AIDS, or might otherwise get entrapped in the global sex trade. Eighty-seven cents of every dollar World Vision receives goes directly to individuals in need. For more information, visit www.worldvision.org.
