Often referred to as the James Brown of reggae music, Toots (pictured) and his band The Maytals play Saturday, June 22, at the 9th annual, weekend-long Sierra Nevada World Music Festival, held again this year at Frogtown, in Angels Camp. Along with The Maytals, the best of reggae and world beat music will be represented: John Brown’s Body, Quetzal, Prezident Brown, and many more.
