Stumble Upon
www.mozilla.com
I don’t know how many people use Firefox as their Internet browser, but for those who do, and even those who don’t (you can download it easily on Mozilla.com), there are many different features that are easy to install and use. One of them is Stumble Upon, which can be added to the top of the Firefox browser. Once in the Stumble program, you enter things that you are interested in viewing online, then hit the Stumble button and off it goes searching thousands of Web sites in the categories that you choose. Once you’ve seen one Web site, hit the button again and it brings up a new one. The categories range from art and music to sports and humor. Stumble Upon is a great way to pass the time and maybe even learn some things along the way. The only thing is that you have to switch browsers, but I found that I like Firefox better than Internet Explorer anyway.
