Most women who use one can’t imagine life without it
We Americans love our gadgets, and perhaps our favorite one nowadays is the smartphone. This pocket-size computer can do so many things in addition to helping us communicate through actual calls and texts. According to a new Gallup poll, 46 percent of smartphone users said they couldn’t imagine life without one. Interestingly, women (51 percent) were much more adamant than their male counterparts (41 percent) about needing the devices. Here’s how things broke down by gender and age for the smartphone-obsessed, with percentages representing those who “need” one:
