Does size matter?

For years we’ve been operating under the impression that Bidwell Park is the third-largest municipal park in America, behind Los Angeles’ Griffith Park and Phoenix’s South Mountain Park. Boy were we wrong. Bidwell is actually the ninth-largest municipal park in the nation, at least in area. Break it down to acres per capita, however, and we’re No. 1. The following information comes from the Friends of Bidwell Park Web site.
