At its annual holiday preview The Toy Industry Association and Toy Wishes magazine announced the “Hot Dozen” (actually a baker’s dozen) toys for the upcoming holiday shopping season. Each year the magazine’s editors compile what they believe will be the top-selling toys, and over the past five years the magazine has been able to foretell which ones would garner the most sales. So, at the risk of nudging consumers to follow the magazine’s lead and validate its powers of prediction, check out this year’s must-have molded plastic goodies (for ages 18 months to 8 years—check with manufacturer for specific item’s age range).
