Record wildfires?

So far this year, wildfires in California have surpassed 2017’s mid-year numbers as well as the state average—in both number of fires and acreage burned. Over the course of the entire year, 2017 was the worst for wildfires in a decade in California. And with drought conditions starting to worsen statewide as we head into the heart of summer, our region is ripe for a record-breaking wildfire season.
