Real green world

MTV’s reality show The Real World is going green for its upcoming 20th season, which the network recently confirmed will be shot in Hollywood.

The house where the show is filmed will include a solar-heated pool, eco-friendly materials such as recycled counter tops and bamboo floors, as well as sustainable furniture and Energy Star appliances.

Producers of the show plan to add sustainable elements to the home on a regular basis. Calling it a groundbreaking initiative, the network says its goal is to introduce today’s young people to the ways they can live an environmentally friendly life.
