Police arrest homicide suspect
Oroville PD says victim was dropped off at hospital with gunshot wound to the head
The Oroville Police Department believes it has found the man who fatally shot a 22-year-old in the head and then dropped him off at a hospital before fleeing.
On Sunday (March 4) about 2:40 a.m., police were called to Oroville Hospital to investigate the circumstances surrounding a victim brought to the emergency room with a gunshot wound to the head, according to a press release. Adam Krater died after life-saving measures failed.
Suspect Noah Gonzales (pictured), 25, was arrested and booked into the Butte County Jail on suspicion of homicide. The suspect’s bail has been posted at $1 million. The firearm used has been recovered by officers.
