February winners of “Recycle Rewards” program donate money to good cause
Sheraton Real Estate Management announced recently that it will donate its Recycle Rewards award money to ReStore—Habitat for Humanity’s Chico-based nonprofit that collects home-improvement goods and sells them to the public to collect money for Habitat projects.
In February, the real estate management company was the recipient of Waste Management/North Valley Disposal’s “Thinking Green in Chico” award, which recognizes local businesses and multifamily dwellings for efforts to encourage residents to recycle properly. All of the $250 prize money will be donated to Habitat’s ReStore.
“In today’s economic climate, it’s more important than ever to lend a helping hand,” Sheraton President Dan Herbert said in a press release.
