Owls hoot at Moxie’s …

Sacramento-based indie band Low Flying Owls (pictured) soars into Moxie’s Café and Gallery Saturday night for an all-ages show. Guitarist/vocalist Jared Southard, guitarist Andy Wagner, bassist Mike Bruce, keyboardist Matt Guyton and drummer Sam Coe comprise the group, which is currently promoting its recent CD on The Americans Are Coming Records, Take the Scenic Route. Opening the show will be Chico’s own talented tunesmiths The Krays (or The Craze, depending, apparently, on what sort of mood the lads are in). Admission is only $3.
