Ordinary Afghans under siege …
15 Little Paintings from Afghanistan features depictions of ordinary Afghan people. Created as a response to the events of Sept. 11, 2001, and those that followed, the paintings were produced by artist Marysa Andriola. An opening reception for the artist occurs 6:30-8 p.m. Friday, May 24, at Atlas Clay Works, located at 601 Orange St. by the railroad tracks near downtown Chico. The public is invited.
