Ongoing transitions …

Artist Cal Ling presents her second gallery show of original paper creations (one piece pictured here), entitled Transition & Transformation 2, displayed Tuesday, Jan. 7, through Thursday, Jan. 30, in the Humanities Gallery, in Room 100 of Trinity Hall on the Chico State campus. The artist describes her work thusly: “The transformations are based on personal yet universal understandings that echo the mysteries and magic of nature and the interplay of the human spirit.” An artist’s reception is held 6-9 p.m. Friday, Jan. 24, with an artist’s lecture occurring at 7 p.m. that same evening. Also opening at the gallery on Jan. 7: Bric-a-Brac features mixed-media-on-paper creations by Rebekah Morse. Regular gallery hours: 8 a.m.-5 p.m., Monday through Friday.
