Not wastin’ resources

Waste Management Inc. was recently named one of the World’s Most Ethical Companies by the Ethisphere Institute, according to a press release from Waste Management.

The institute’s annual list recognizes companies that show a commitment to strong ethics and compliance programs. This year, 100 companies made the list—of them, 26 were first-timers. Waste Management was the only company to be recognized under the Environmental Services category.

“We have worked long and hard to build a corporate culture that values ethics, employee engagement and sustainability,” said Waste Management spokesperson Justin Caporusso.

This is the fourth year the institute has published the World’s Most Ethical rankings in its publication, Ethisphere Magazine.
