Not bad for a ‘party school’
Chico State holds steady in national magazine’s best college ranking
Chico State came in sixth this week among “regional public universities in the Western United States,” as rated by U.S. News & World Report for its 2011 edition called America’s Best Colleges, according to a university press release.
Chico State is placed in the regional category with other schools with undergraduate and master’s programs but few doctoral programs. The campus earned the same ranking issued to the campus last year, and has been within the top 10 colleges in its category since 1998.
