A check for $1,550 was presented to Fly, spokesdog for the Butte Humane Society, last week at Durham Park. Handing Fly the check is Lynda Piercy, of the Chico Dog Fanciers Association. The money was raised via a raffle when the association held a Run 4 Fun Flyball Tournament in Bidwell Park last month and will go toward the care and training of rescued dogs.
