St. Patrick’s Day partiers line up to get into Riley’s at 5th and Ivy around 1 p.m. March 17. While daytime celebrations were muted and for the most part trouble-free, Chico police said the party turned ugly around 10 p.m., with small groups of college-age drunks getting in fights and acting like green-togged a-holes. Police arrested 69 people, mainly for being drunk in public.
