New hospital head

Feather River Hospital has a new interim president and CEO—Richard Rawson—as of Tuesday (Jan. 19).

Rawson (pictured) is a 32-year veteran of the hospital industry. He most recently filled concurrent positions as CEO of Loma Linda University Medical Center in Murrieta and senior vice president for strategic planning of Loma Linda University Health.

“I am grateful that we’ve found someone with Rick’s depth of experience, strong leadership and operational expertise while a permanent president is finalized,” Jeff Eller, FRH board chair and CEO of Adventist Health’s Northern California division, said via press release.

Rawson takes the place of Kevin Erich, who retired Jan. 1.
