New folk in town …

New folk recording artists John Gorka and Alice Peacock appear Saturday night at the Chico Women’s Club, 592 East Third St., courtesy of North Valley Productions. Headliner Gorka (pictured) is said to be "reminiscent of Lyle Lovett and John Prine," while the sultry Peacock is said to have enough spunk to "take on the Dixie Chicks at their own game."
