Music in the Med Center
Members of the Soweto Gospel Choir, from South Africa, spent an hour at Enloe Medical Center Monday (Oct. 13), singing for patients, visitors, employees and physicians. One observer said she saw “tears of joy from the sounds of the harmonies and rhythms, and from seeing others who were moved by it.” The group, which performed at Laxson Auditorium Sunday evening, is shown here performing in the hospital’s lobby. The hospital has been featuring live music as a healing art for the past year as part of its Planetree philosophy for patient care.
