Missing woman found dead
Alycia Yeoman’s body found in Feather River
A body found in the Feather River over the weekend has been identified as that of Alycia “Aly” Yeoman, a 20-year-old Gridley woman who went missing more than a month ago, according to a press release issued by the Sutter County Sheriff’s Office Tuesday (May 9).
Yeoman (pictured) was last seen leaving the Yuba City home of a friend at about 11 p.m. on March 30. Her cellphone and unoccupied truck were discovered in the Live Oak area April 3, with a single set of footprints leading away from the vehicle.
On Sunday, a fisherman found a body in the river south of the Live Oak Recreational Park boat launch. It was identified as Yeoman’s through dental records.
The investigation remains ongoing, and anyone with information is urged to contact the SCSO at 822-7307.
