Lodging: Hotels, motels and B&Bs, oh my!

With the huge variety of things to do in Chico, where to stay while visiting is as easy to arrange as having a good time once you’re here. Whether you’re here for business or pleasure, there are dozens of lodging facilities at your fingertips.

Depending on your budget, you may choose to rest at a low-cost motel or lounge leisurely at one of the local bed and breakfasts. Many of the establishments are conveniently located close to one another, and most are not far off Highway 99. If Chico is merely a pit stop for a further destination, a room can usually be found. If you plan on staying a while and have a particular place in mind, reservations are suggested, especially during our busiest weekends, such as Memorial Day, Labor Day, Halloween and other notoriously “Chico holidays.” People literally camp out overnight to reserve rooms for Chico State University’s graduation weekend.

Regardless of when and where you end up, you’re sure to be treated with the small-town hospitality Chico prides itself on.
