Local hospice honored

Butte Home Health & Hospice has been nationally recognized with a pair of awards.

The local hospice service was named a top agency of the 2012 HomeCare Elite, a compilation of the top 25 percent of Medicare-certified home-health providers in the United States, according to a Butte Home Health & Hospice press release.

The agency was also recognized as an official partner of We Honor Veterans, a campaign that awards organizations that “demonstrate a systematic commitment to improving care for veterans,” as the release said. As a partner of We Honor Veterans, Butte Home Health & Hospice will be provided additional resources to continue providing high-quality end-of-life care to veterans.
