Like sober boats adrift …

The Chico Art Center, located in Suite 6 at 450 Orange St. in Chico, currently feature multi-media works created by the “original bag ladies” and gathered together under the title Women of Few Words. Pictured is the acrylic painting “Asea” by artist Kathie Bechard. Other featured works have been created by sister “bag ladies” Christina Aranguren, Lois Perkins, Laurie Combs, Thelma Safarik, Betty Benson, Lea Wagner, Frances Miller, Ruelene Fillerup and Dee Leach.
